They are seeking a Purchasing Specialist responsible for tactical procurement of materials and services to support production needs, managing supplier relationships, and implementing sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates strong strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and the capacity to synthesize complex data for informed decision-making

Tracks, maintains, and forecasts production levels, manages supplier relationships, and monitors delivery performance to ensure timely and quality outputs

Updates purchase orders, reviews MRP messages, maintains SKU classifications, and manages shortages and inventory classifications

Provides performance reports, evaluates vendor performance, and reviews financial and operational data to identify cost-saving opportunities

Implements policies, reviews ECOs, coordinates shipments, and ensures safety guidelines are followed to enhance productivity and operational efficiency

Required

Bachelor's degree in relevant field

5+ years of professional experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain

Experience working in a manufacturing environment
