Responsibilities
Participates with Safety Committee, maintains and updates Safety Handbook, and ensures facility staff receive safety orientation and policy updates
Ensures that routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner
Provide status updates to Facilities Manager
Ensures that daily, weekly, and monthly walkthroughs are completed per program standards
Has responsibility to respond to off-hours facility emergencies
Maintain relationships and coordinate services with approved vendors and contractors
Maintains all applicable Building, NFPA, CARF/Life Safety Codes and regulations
Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours
Supervises housekeeping and maintenance staff
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Maintains a competent level in maintenance skills, plumbing, electrical, structural, HVAC areas
Ability to maintain repair records and prepare related reports
Ability to handle a crisis situation and react appropriately
Ability to perform equipment/facility repairs
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Plumbing, electrical, building and heating experience
