Vice President of Business Development
HWL is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to lead growth and client acquisition across health systems nationwide. The role involves driving new business, managing a pipeline of high-value prospects, and engaging C-suite stakeholders through various outreach methods.
Responsibilities
Drive new business by selling MSP, VMS, and workforce solutions to healthcare systems
Build and manage a pipeline of high-value prospects
Engage C-suite stakeholders through outreach, presentations, and solution demos
Lead proposals, RFP responses, and contract negotiations
Represent HWL at conferences and key industry events
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience selling strategic staffing, consulting, or workforce technology solutions
Strong existing relationships at the C-level within health systems
Deep understanding of MSP, VMS, and GPO models
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Preferred
Proven track record of closing complex deals in healthcare
Confidence navigating both provider and technology sides of the workforce ecosystem
Hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
A trusted advisor mindset with a focus on long-term client partnerships
