P33 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing Chicago's tech ecosystem. They are seeking enthusiastic undergraduate interns to assist with various projects related to strategy, operations, marketing, and workforce development.

Responsibilities

Support fundraising and revenue-generation strategies across the organization
Assist with purchasing, internal finance processes, and audit preparation
Contribute to people operations and HR workflows
Help develop and track enterprise strategic goals
Gather data and insights to strengthen P33’s fundraising, operations, and strategic initiatives
Contribute to enterprise-wide project planning related to strategic goals and operational initiatives
Develop and execute social media and digital outreach campaigns to grow the TechChicago brand
Design visual content (using Canva) for digital and branded marketing channels
Amplify success stories across P33’s ecosystem, including Chicago’s tech achievements and founder highlights
Support communication strategies for Deep Tech ecosystem storytelling
Contribute to digital campaigns highlighting early-stage founders and P33 initiatives
Support planning and execution of branded events, including TechChicago Week and the Global Quantum Forum
Assist with events that advance P33’s talent initiatives, such as Xchange Chicago and emerging workforce programs
Help coordinate events and engagement efforts tied to Deep Tech ecosystem development
Support efforts to expand access to resources and capital for early-stage startup founders
Analyze assets within Chicago’s Deep Tech sectors (quantum, life sciences, energy, etc.) to support project, program, and ecosystem development
Conduct research on entrepreneurial and workforce development opportunities within Deep Tech
Assess regional industry opportunities and gaps to inform strategic planning
Support execution of P33 programs aimed at building Chicago's digital talent pipeline
Help advance initiatives that create pathways for the future tech workforce
Assist the P33 team in activating Big Bets driven program strategies
Support cross-team coordination to ensure alignment on enterprise goals and technology ecosystem outcomes

Required

To be considered for an internship at P33, a candidate must be enrolled as an undergraduate in an institution of higher education
You're a proactive individual who can anticipate challenges and develop solutions without being told exactly how to approach a problem
You can operate well both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team
You can remain comfortable and focused even amid ambiguity and change
P33 utilizes Microsoft Office Suite. All applicants must have a strong proficiency in this software

Preferred

Preference will be given to candidates who are rising seniors/those who have completed 3 years of undergraduate level courses
Contextual or working knowledge of the tech sector including talent/workforce development, venture capital, startup ecosystem building, technology commercialization, economic development, etc. are a plus!
