Responsibilities
Proactively translating complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical centric solutions (e.g., processes, policies, technology) that drive business value in the apparel/fashion industry
Lead the end-to-end architecture of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations), MSFT D365 ISVs and impact to other applications
Define data model extensions and integrations for PLM, warehouse management, e-commerce, and POS systems
Understands the basic business functions for apparel/fashion company
Understands unique business requirements of the apparel/fashion industry: style/color/size hierarchies, SKU variations, BOMs, and assortments, seasonal product rollouts, demand planning, supply planning and inventory deployment across a omnichannel business, vendor management in a global apparel supply chain. Fashion-specific workflows including design to production, actual product costing, returns, value added services
Oversee development teams, code reviews, and best practice enforcement
Guide configuration, customization, and environment setup
Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to validate design decisions
Lead integration strategy for 3rd-party systems like PLM, Shopify, Salesforce, or legacy ERP platforms
Define data migration strategy for product catalogs, vendor data, inventory, and customer history
Ensure data integrity, system performance, and platform scalability
Act as technical lead throughout implementation lifecycle: blueprinting, development, testing, deployment, and support
Contribute to project planning, effort estimation, and risk management
Support user training, documentation, and post-go-live optimization
Qualification
Required
10+ years of ERP implementation experience, with at least last 4+ years on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations as a lead/architect
Proven delivery of at least two full-cycle D365 F&O implementation in the apparel/fashion or retail industry
Strong understanding of order management, Supply chain processes, inventory management, product data management, and financial processes
Proven integration in design, development and support of integrations between third party systems and Dynamics 365
Experience with style/size/color matrix handling, product variants, BOMs, and apparel-specific business logic
Experience with D365 security roles and SOD rule set
Experience with D365 ISV such as SKG, Avalara, Vertex, FastPath, DocCentric, SPS commerce, OCR tools (Exflow, Medius)
Hands-on experience with integration technologies: Azure Logic Apps, OData, custom APIs, and Power Platform
Familiarity with tools like Lifecycle Services (LCS), DevOps, Data Management Framework (DMF)
Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Logility)
Experience working with Planning systems (e.g. OMP)
Working knowledge of Power BI
Understanding of global apparel supply chains, compliance (e.g., labeling, regulations), and sustainability tracking
Knowledge of EDI messages and integration with 3PL provider
Strong business knowledge and communication skills to translate business needs and expected performance improvements into technology centric solutions
Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management
Ability to guide cross-functional teams across IT, operations, and merchandising
Problem-solving mindset with an emphasis on scalability and efficiency
Adaptability in fast-paced, trend-driven industries like fashion and retail
