Responsibilities
Prepare, check and verify various regulatory reporting such as the following: Daily operations for CED assets, FR 2420, FR 2900 (Reserve requirement), FR 2644 (Weekly assets and liabilities), FFIEC 002 (Quarterly FRB call report), FFIEC 019(Country Exposure report), etc
Work with management to improve operations and enhance quality assurance for regulatory reporting and US GAAP
Enhance regulatory reporting procedures and related compliance procedures and support other departments
Review and validate significant changes in transactions and ensure data reflects current business and market activity in the preparation of FFIEC002 and participate in quarterly meetings (meeting minutes, etc.)
Prepare variance analysis and analyze regulatory reporting instructions
Collaborate with IT group in the automation projects to develop internal application to minimum manual intervention and to limit the use of spreadsheets
Partner with the third parties to ensure the correctness of all the attached regulatory reports
Backup for CUSO reporting, general accounting, tax, and reconciliation operation
Based on changes in the business work environment, job responsibilities can change, and additional functions and tasks may be added or removed accordingly. Additionally, this position will perform other duties as required, and participate in special projects as deemed necessary and appropriate by Management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
2-4 years of relevant work experience
Regulatory Reporting knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other Office products
Strong communication skills both verbal and writing, with attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and a fast learner
Must be versatile, able to work effectively independently or as part of a team on multiple projects simultaneously
Flexible to work beyond regular office hours at times based on business needs
