Responsibilities

Perform Visual Testing (VT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) weld inspections

Perform welding inspections per NAVSEA and AWS standards

Oversee NDT resources across multiple facilities, providing support to sub-contract vendors, and maintaining accurate documentation

Perform inspections of work areas and other quality assessments

Review and finalize records at the conclusion of each work package for storage

Required

High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in Visual Testing (VT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) of welds, preferably with NAVSEA experience

Proficient use of weld inspection tools, including weld gauges, NDT equipment, and micrometers

ASNT Level II certification in Visual Testing (VT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) or the ability to obtain it

Capable of interpreting technical data, blueprints, and specifications

Must be a US Citizen

Ability to obtain Security Clearance required
