Responsibilities
Monitor and manage Dynamics 365 and related partner software environments, including sandbox and production
Perform regular health checks, diagnostics, and performance monitoring
Apply system updates, hotfixes, and patches through LCS (F&O)
Create and manage user accounts, security roles, duties, and privileges
Ensure role-based access control (RBAC) is correctly applied and compliant with internal policies
Collaborate with HR/IT to manage onboarding/offboarding workflows
Support lifecycle activities such as environment refreshes, database backups/restores, and deployment of code packages
Assist with managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including build and release pipelines
Evaluate and perform software updates and releases
Resolve system issues and performance bottlenecks
Log and manage support tickets with Microsoft or external vendors as needed
Act as Tier 2/3 support for Dynamics-related incidents
Manage data imports/exports using Data Management Framework (DMF), Excel Add-in, or configuration packages
Assist with mass updates, data cleanup, and integrity checks
Maintain documentation for admin processes, user role definitions, and security configurations
Support user training and system onboarding as needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O)
Experience with Medius, Avlara, SK Global and other MSFT D365 ISVs
General understanding of the CPG industry and key business functions
Proficiency with tools such as: LCS (Lifecycle Services) for F&O, Power Platform Admin Center, Azure Active Directory (AAD) for authentication and user management, Azure DevOps for builds and deployments
Experience with user and security role configuration
Familiarity with data entities, batch jobs, workflow monitoring, and telemetry tools
Microsoft certifications such as MB300, MB-500, MB-700, PL-200, PL-400, GH300, or GH900
Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, GitHub, and unified development hosted environments
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR) as they relate to ERP/CRM systems
Experience working with ISVs or industry-specific D365 extensions
Strong communication and coordination abilities, with the capability to collaborate effectively across both technical and non-technical teams
Detail-oriented with a proactive and analytical mindset
Focused on delivering measurable return on investment (ROI)
Able to prioritize and manage multiple demands on resources in a fast-paced environment
