Responsibilities
Prepare and layout detailed manufacturing process plans for new parts utilizing Solidworks (modeling and drafting) and ERP
Review and interpret customer purchase order, drawings and specifications for incorporation into the manufacturing process plan
Review and interpret customer purchase order, drawings and specifications for manufacturing process plan compliance
Incorporate engineering changes to existing process plans
Review existing tool and gage inventory for use in the manufacturing process plan. Design and order new tooling as necessary
Interacting with manufacturing to resolve issues as they are encountered
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2-10+ years of experience (open to mid or senior-level)
Experience in precision machining required
Strong communication skills required: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedures and work instructions. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of manufacturing, engineering & quality personnel
