Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Sanitary District
Ensure efficient service delivery through effective staffing, performance management, and organizational planning
Oversee recruitment, professional development, compensation, and personnel programs
Foster a collaborative, high-performing workplace culture
Qualification
Required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of the laws that affect the operations of the District
Excellent leadership, supervisory, and motivation skills
Experience in construction administration
An understanding of the financial operations of a sanitary district, including budgeting and setting user fees
Knowledge and experience in EPA rules and regulations
The ability to analyze, interpret, and use data in developing policies and recommendations
Experience in public speaking, planning fundraisers, and special events
Excellent multi-tasking skills and knows when to delegate
The ability to occasionally work extended hours during the week or weekends, and to occasionally respond to emergencies on a 24-hour basis
