Analyst – Middle Office Operations
Axelon Services Corporation is seeking an Analyst for their Middle Office Operations. The Middle Office Analyst will support daily client trade activity across various asset types, ensuring operational accuracy and providing timely reporting while focusing on client service and process improvement.

Responsibilities
Manage critical daily operational functions across the trade lifecycle, including Trade Capture, Matching, Settlement, Accounting Integration, Pricing, and Corporate Actions
Gather and verify trade information from multiple sources in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
Resolve transaction discrepancies, including unmatched/failed trades, pricing issues, dividends/coupons, FX, derivatives contracts, account overdrafts, and bank wires
Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports for internal and external clients; respond to follow-up inquiries
Conduct research on complex trade or process issues and drive resolution
Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, and operational control
Collaborate with internal teams and external clients, providing a high level of stakeholder management
Work may occasionally be required on holidays
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
1-3 years of related financial industry experience, preferably in middle/back office operations
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive solutions
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Knowledge of various security types (equities, debt, private instruments, derivatives)
Experience with 40 ACT mutual fund operations
Familiarity with SWIFT messaging formats
Proven ability to maintain a customer-focused attitude under pressure
Ability to work independently while adhering to operational guidelines and controls
