Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes within the produce industry for specific retail initiatives
Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze sales data, market share, and performance metrics
Generate insights to assess the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and identify opportunities for growth
Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to assess the performance of past promotions and evaluate their impact on sales, customer engagement, and brand awareness
Generate insights to inform future promotional strategies
Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for differentiation
Provide recommendations to enhance competitive positioning and market share
Analyze pricing dynamics and market trends to optimize pricing strategies for maximum profitability and competitiveness
Monitor pricing changes in the market and recommend adjustments as needed
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align trade marketing efforts with business objectives
Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders effectively
Must comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures

Qualification
Required
Post secondary education in business, analytics or other related disciplines required
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
Exceptional communication abilities, active listening skills and written communication skills
Ability to maintain respectful relationships at all levels within and outside the organization
Proficiency in working with computers and software programs, specifically ERP, KPI Portals and Microsoft Office more specifically Excel and Nav
Ability to identify issues and problem solve independently using appropriate resources internally and externally
Displays strong initiative and able to work independently with little direction, within a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Team player with a high level of dedication
Ability to work under strict deadlines; and ensure timely follow-up
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment, some independent work
Ability to work in a fast environment by multitasking and prioritizing work while being attentive to details and quality
Must be strong with follow through as many tasks require constant follow-up
Very high degree of confidentiality and integrity required regarding all aspects of the business
Valid passport with the ability to travel to the U.S. or internationally as required
A valid driver's license and use of personal vehicle are required as needed
