The role involves teaching, curriculum development, and engaging in professional activities to enhance the Accounting and Finance programs.

Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance and Accounting with enthusiasm, creativity, and a focus on applied, hands-on learning
Contribute to curriculum development, particularly in areas integrating Al, analytics, and data-driven financial decision-making
Engage in continuous professional development to remain current in the discipline and emerging technologies
Conduct scholarly and professional activities aligned with your interests and MSOE9s mission of excellence in teaching and learning
Provide meaningful service through participation in department, university, and accreditation initiatives, helping to advance RSOB’s reputation for innovation and character-centered education
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or DBA in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field (ABD candidates nearing completion considered)
Evidence of teaching excellence and the ability to engage and inspire students
Commitment to integrating emerging technologies, especially Al, analytics, or data visualization, into teaching and research
Preferred
Professional experience, certification (CPA, CMA, CFA), or practitioner engagement is highly desirable
