Responsibilities
Lab Equipment Technicians oversees the daily operation, maintenance and repair of environmental sampling equipment. This includes cleaning, certifying and maintaining the inventory and support of laboratory operations
Daily shipping, receiving and processing of equipment request and samples based on clients’ needs
Preparation, calibration, certification and repair of air sampling equipment
Maintaining clean laboratory areas
Maintaining organized records of equipment requests and fulfillment
Tracking inventory from multiple sites
Comply with Enthalpy’s Quality Assurance Program and other policies
Comply with Enthalpy’s Health and Safety Plan
Other duties as assigned by the Group Leader or Lab Director
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Strong MS Office skills
Must have strong mechanical skills and enjoy working with tools on a daily basis
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organizational skills and strong communication skills
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely and to lift/manipulate smaller weight items throughout the day
Must have the ability to stand and move about for approximately 80+% of the shift
Preferred
Knowledge of general lab practices and lab safety
Database/LIMS experience is highly preferred
Prior warehouse and/or shipping and receiving experience
