Responsibilities

Provide technician direction and actively participate with rocket engine test data and controls systems setups, process verifications, instrumentation and pre-run systems calibrations, data processing and post-test data validity reviews
Participate in development program budget estimates and provide implementation oversight of facility modification engineering packages using industry standards and specifications
Work closely with multiple engineering organizations to accommodate customer requirements and expectations

Required

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Knowledgeable of electrical/electronic principles
Experience with PC based controls applications, operating systems, and algorithm development
Experience with LabVIEW data acquisition and controls programming and associated industrial project applications
Hands-on development, integration, operation and troubleshooting of instrumentation, controls systems, and controls equipment
Experience with HMI Graphical Programming
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) – Hardware, Software, and programming
Experience with sensor circuits including but not limited to pressure, temperature, flow, vibration, proximity and force measurement

Preferred

Computer networking and industrial communication protocols
Pneumatic valves and control hardware, systems, and applications
Instrumentation and acquisition hardware specification and procurement
SQL Database Administration
Familiarity with servo-hydraulic control systems
