Responsibilities
Serve as the primary strategic lead and enterprise subject matter expert for social media strategy and execution for pharmaceutical clients (HCP/DTC), driving high-level vision
Navigate and interpret complex, evolving social policies and global requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry to mitigate risk for the agency and its clients
Lead collaboration with internal executive teams and senior client stakeholders to ensure all social media ecosystems and content strategies exceed brand, legal, and medical standards
Act as the ultimate point of escalation for platform-wide issue resolution, optimization strategy, and high-stakes platform troubleshooting
Qualification
Required
6-8 years of leadership experience within a pharmaceutical advertising agency is required (HCP/DTC)
Proven mastery of the social media architecture and setup process specifically for pharmaceutical products
Bachelor's degree in communications, media, or similar required
Expert-level knowledge of compliance requirements -MLR and the ability to consult on regulatory risk
Deep familiarity with high-level commercial timelines and the nuances of the medical/legal approval process
Advanced ability to lead troubleshooting efforts and problem-solve systemic platform issues
Strong experience with social listening in the pharma space
Previous experience in a client-facing position required
Proven track record in social media planning, measurement frameworks, and long-term optimization strategies
Ability to manage multiple projects, simultaneously
