Responsibilities
Own the monthly close and deliver clean, timely financials
Be the go-to accounting lead for a multi-property portfolio
Partner with ownership, asset managers, lenders, and auditors
Run month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and year-end reporting
Review property financials, flag issues, and fix them
Monitor cash flow, debt payments, and lender compliance
Manage management fee billing and property-level reporting
Support budgets, forecasts, and process improvements
Help standardize and scale accounting as the portfolio grows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
Hands-on ownership of the month-end close
Experience with Yardi, MRI, Entrata, RealPage, or similar
Strong Excel and solid GAAP fundamentals
Comfortable communicating with lenders, auditors, and partners
Preferred
Construction or Real estate/property accounting experience preferred, but NOT necessary for exceptional talent
