Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines using AWS services (e.g., S3)
Ingest and normalize data from mobile apps, sensors, and connected health devices
Collaborate with platform teams to align proof-of-concept pipelines with enterprise data architecture standards
Ensure data pipelines meet privacy, security, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GxP)
Support data scientists and product teams with structured datasets for analysis and visualization
Automate deployment and monitoring of data workflows in a DevOps-friendly environment
Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and rapid prototyping culture of the lab
Qualification
Required
3+ years experience in data engineering, preferably in digital health, healthcare, or sciences
Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Quicksight)
Strong Python programming skills
ETL tool experience
Familiarity with data governance, access controls, and healthcare compliance
Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, iterative environment
Preferred
Experience with connected device data and wearables is a plus
