Responsibilities
Develop and optimize ceramic materials, compositions, and processing methods
Scale up manufacturing processes including sintering, hot pressing, extrusion, and casting
Conduct material characterization (SEM, XRD, TGA) and mechanical/thermal testing
Perform failure analysis and root-cause investigation
Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and customer-facing teams
Create technical reports, test documentation, and process instructions
Provide technical support and training to production teams and customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
2–5 years' experience in ceramic materials development or manufacturing (internships acceptable for entry-level)
Knowledge of ceramic processing and finishing techniques
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing, hands-on environment
Preferred
Master's or Ph.D. in Ceramics/Materials
Aerospace manufacturing experience
Exposure to Lean or Six Sigma tools
Customer support experience
