Payroll and Treasury Accountant

Responsibilities
Handle weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing for U.S. based entities using Ceridian (Dayforce)
Modify and generate reports, and manager payroll inquiries
Manage fringe benefits and labor accruals
Severance reconciliation
Set up and process wire payments
Handle daily bank transactions, reconciliations, and month-end entries
Manage cash journal entries and print checks
Assist with 401(k) audit
Calculate and files non-income based taxes; including the Washington Excise Tax and Philadelphia Tax
Overhead allocation, inventory adjustments, and various journal entries
Real estate, property tax entries
Scrap and rework accounting, and annual roll-forward entries
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in payroll accounting or finance
Strong understanding of payroll processes and accounting principles
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g. ADP, Ceridian, Paycom) and accounting software (e.g. Oracle, SAP)
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle sensitive payroll information
