Responsibilities
Own your book of business by executing sales plans that grow revenue and profitability
Turn opportunities into orders by understanding customer needs, interpreting technical requirements, and providing the right solutions
Prospect and develop new accounts through research, outreach, and relationship building
Prepare and deliver quotes, manage orders, and communicate timelines clearly to customers
Grow accounts by understanding buying history, recommending related or new products, and explaining technical features in plain language
Ask smart, operational-level questions to ensure customers are ordering what they actually need, then tap into DCS engineering expertise when needed
Partner with regional Life Cycle sales teams to jointly win and expand territory business
Work target lists through calls, emails, and creative outreach to open new doors
Coordinate with DCS warehousing teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
Keep everything organized and moving by updating activity and orders in Salesforce
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience selling industrial parts
Track record of hitting (or beating) sales goals
Ability to follow through and build trust with customers
Experience in engaging new accounts through thoughtful strategies
Focus on creating real value for customers and building long-term relationships
Ability to share insights from the field and customer feedback
Quick learner of new systems and ability to suggest efficient ways of working
Strong business instincts and understanding of customer needs
Team player who collaborates with peers
