Responsibilities

Perform research trade studies analyses of data, in support of customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals, to determine feasibility of the design
Synthesizes solutions to meet customer expectations and technical performance while staying within schedule and cost constraints
Leads Modeling and Simulation activities
Leads concept design activities through development and into production
Evaluate components to determine performance impacts to existing designs
Create and review hardware and system design documentation such as schematics, interface control drawings, assembly drawings and other technical documents to ensure high-quality deliverables
Performs detailed technical analyses for a system and electrical subsystems to include: concept, requirements, platform integration, design and life cycle maintenance
Performs electrical requirements analysis, requirements definition, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design, detail trade studies and interface definition studies of electrical elements
Performs technical planning, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for system electrical elements
Leads customer requirements analysis, develops system requirements and defines allocations to lower levels (subsystem, elements and components)
Leads and performs the generation and maintenance of electrical work products (i.e. plans, specifications, design documentation, etc.)
Leads technical design and trade studies documents in support of proposal developments and customer presentations
Manages lower-level employees

Required

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
Also requires 8 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable time from hire
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
