Business Development Intern
Flexera is a global tech leader specializing in IT management and cloud cost optimization, with a mission to save customers billions in wasted technology spend. The Sales Development intern will play a crucial role in driving leads and growth by uncovering new sales opportunities and assisting with various sales activities, while gaining real-world sales experience.
Responsibilities
Contact Flexera prospects and customers via phone, email & LinkedIn
Understand persona- and solution-based selling
Learn how to conduct a qualification & discovery call
Utilize top industry Sales Tools, including AI, and learn how technology is changing Sales & Marketing
Assist with the execution of Sales Development campaigns as instructed, entering information into the CRM database as instructed
Learn skills like opening calls, overcoming objections, handing off prospects to Sales, and asking for a meeting
Work in a unique environment alongside the existing Sales Development team, seeing how they find success
Deliver an exciting project as a team and in a fun, competitive environment
Qualification
Required
Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Wants to learn Sales or give it a try
Be in Milwaukee's downtown office 3-5 days a week during the internship (schedule to be provided)
Highly self-motivated
Proficiency in all MS Office Applications, including- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Seeking a bachelor's degree in a business-related or similar area
Preferred
Database / Salesforce.com experience
Knowledge of and or experience with the sales process
