Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to provide asset management support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. The role involves maintaining baseline configuration of managed assets and documenting all relevant device information.

Responsibilities

Maintain baseline configuration of managed assets

Document all device information to include, but not limited to; manufacturer, model, serial number, device cost, product lifecycles, software versions to include firmware, location, and issuance information

Conduct applicable documentation for missing devices

Participate in missing device investigations as needed

Prepare decommissioning documentation and coordinate/conduct disposition with Base Equipment Custodian Officer or designated representative

Securely store and track excess accountable equipment

Required

3+ years experience in asset and inventory management

HS diploma or GED

Experience with annual inventory of all accountable devices

Experience tracking product lifecycles, and issuing devices to unit personnel as approved by government leads

Must have the ability to solve problems that may arise and determine preventative measures

Basic understanding and technical knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT domains

Must have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

Must possess a high degree of initiative and self-motivation

Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance
