Responsibilities

Support daily stamping and welding operations to improve quality, throughput, and safety
Troubleshoot production issues involving tooling, dies, weld parameters, fixtures, and equipment
Optimize stamping and welding processes for new and existing parts
Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce scrap and downtime
Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and tool & die teams
Support new launches, engineering changes, and process documentation
Contribute to automation, continuous improvement, and capital equipment projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
2–5 years of experience in stamping, welding, or metal fabrication
Knowledge of stamping dies, MIG/resistance/robotic welding, tooling, and GD&T
Experience with problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and process optimization
Familiarity with PFMEA, control plans, and other IATF/APQP documentation
Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach on the production floor

Preferred

Tier 1 automotive + IATF 16949 experience strongly preferred
