The Director of Resident Care is responsible for overseeing Assisted Living and Memory Care systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Direct resident well-being according to State regulations to ensure appropriate and acceptable standards of care and adequate staffing

Maintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures, dictated for compliance

In conjunction with the Executive Director recruit, select, supervise, mentor, appraise and counsel caregiving team members

In conjunction with the community’s multidisciplinary team, coordinate the resident admission process including screening, assessment, care planning and team assignments

Ensure appropriate delivery of services as identified in resident care plans by delegating and communicating verbal and written expectations to caregiving team members

LPN or RN Required

A strong background in assessing residents' behavioral symptoms and developing non-pharmacologic approaches to meeting residents' needs

Meet the State qualifications and training requirements for the position

Must have computer skills – e-mail, documents, spreadsheets and entering data

Must be medically able and willing to wear a NIOSH-approved tight-fitting respirator (N95 mask), if required by and in accordance with federal or state regulations or Spectrum policy
