As an Investment Accountant, you will perform investment accounting duties and collaborate with the team on cash settlement and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
Performing investment accounting duties with an emphasis on general ledger entries and investment operations
Work collaboratively with the team to perform all functions related to cash settlement and financial reporting
Including the period-end close process and back office services for our alternative investment portfolio
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field along with 3 years of accounting experience
If you do not have a bachelor's degree, a high school diploma, GED or associate's degree along with 7 years of accounting experience may be substituted
At least an intermediate knowledge level of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook is required
Must be able to comply with the OPERS Personal Trading Policy
Preferred
Experience with Alternative Investments is strongly preferred
A background in investments with knowledge of investments terminology is extremely helpful
