The Lending Services Data & AI Solutions Intern will support the Lending Services team by assisting with data management, business intelligence reporting, and introductory AI projects, gaining hands-on experience in commercial banking data workflows and Power BI reporting.

Banking

Responsibilities

Assist with organizing and maintaining data related to lending workflows (e.g., loan origination, underwriting, servicing, portfolio management)
Help prepare and clean data for analysis and reporting
Support the documentation of ETL/ELT processes under supervision
Help build and update Power BI dashboards and reports for loan performance and operational KPIs
Assist with data refreshes, user access requests, and troubleshooting basic Power BI issues

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or related field
Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, or other data tools (coursework or personal projects)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and collaborate with credit executives, lending team members, analysts, and IT teams
Ability to communicate clearly and ask questions when unsure
Interest in business intelligence, data analytics, and AI technologies
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred

Basic understanding of data structures and commercial banking concepts
Exposure to SQL, Python, or similar languages
