Responsibilities
Join a close-knit team working on municipal roadway and utility projects on construction sites and in the office
Support field staff by helping with on-site construction observation and construction survey and staking
Support project managers and engineers with project development and design tasks, with effective communication to staff, contractors, and clients
Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and accurately draft information using AutoCAD and related softwares
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Surveying or related
Ability to travel for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections, etc
Ability to walk and climb over rough terrain and carry up to 50 pounds
Must be local or with the ability to report into the Rice Lake, WI office
Preferred
Experience with observing construction activities and record keeping through employment or coursework
Experience working with basic AutoCAD tasks through employment or coursework
