Responsibilities

Develop and implement regional supply chain and procurement strategies to support US manufacturing and sales objectives
Support the Global Demand and Supply Planning Manager in integrated business planning (IBP) and S&OP processes, helping to ensure supply chain decisions align with enterprise growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction
Champion the integration of new products and design changes into planning frameworks, ensuring seamless transitions and uninterrupted supply to consumables
Manage supplier selection, evaluation, and negotiation for assigned direct suppliers, focusing on cost reduction, risk mitigation, and value creation
Be the procurement partner or conduit for HQ support for larger US based Indirect procurement sourcing and negotiation requirements for larger deals (> $25kPA)
Develop and implement sourcing frameworks, templates, and category management plans
Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Support new product introductions and end-of-life transitions with robust planning and forecasting
Oversee order placement, expediting, and inventory management to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective supply of materials to production and supply of finished goods for distribution
Develop and maintain rolling demand and supply plans at SKU and regional levels, integrating inputs from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Procurement
Ensure compliance with WHS, QMS, and company policies across all planning and supply chain activities
Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain and procurement efficiency to support organizational goals
Engage in ongoing process reviews, cost optimization, and risk mitigation activities
Promote internal stakeholder awareness of procurement processes and monitor compliance to procurement best practice
Collaborate with Inventory Manager, QA, R&D, and Engineering teams to ensure continuity of supply and effective implementation of product changes
Authorise product release for global distribution in conjunction with QA

Required

Minimum 8–10 years' experience in procurement, supply chain, and category management, ideally in global manufacturing or regulated environments
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CIPS, Six Sigma, Lean, PMP) are advantageous
Proven leadership across diverse teams, with a track record of building collaborative, high-performing cultures
Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Demonstrated success in S&OP, IBP, and consensus planning
Experience in global operations and multi-region planning
Hands-on experience with new product introduction (NPI) and technology transfer
Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365, QAD preferred)
Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and supplier management methodologies
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proficient in excel to enable detailed analytics and insights
Power BI experience preferred to build key reports to enable more effective performance tracking and decision making
