EMS Program Coordinator - Paramedic
Centinela Hospital Medical Center is seeking an EMS Program Coordinator - Paramedic to act as a liaison between the hospital and EMS providers. This role is responsible for ensuring collaboration in emergency care settings and advocating for the hospital within the EMS community.

Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between the health system/market/hospital and area Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers
Serve as an advocate of the hospital with private, local, regional, and state EMS agencies
Ensure collaboration across all care settings within the facility as it relates to EMS and public safety relations
Directly accountable for the care given to patients in the Emergency Department under the direction of the physician
Communicate directly with the medical team and physician regarding changes in the patient’s clinical condition
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in the condition and/or response to treatment
Qualification
Required
Current and valid Paramedic or Registered Nurse license issued by the State
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
ACLS within 30 days upon hire and maintain current
PALS and/or ENPC required within 30 days upon hire and maintain current
Preferred
One year EMS outreach experience preferred
Three years EMS clinical experience preferred
