Responsibilities

Performs pulling, routing and terminating CAT-6A, CAT-6 and CAT-5 cables in a commercial environment

Performs pulling, routing and terminating fiber cables in a commercial environment

Dresses and terminates distribution frames

Performs testing cable/troubleshooting

Installs support structures (cabinets, ladders, racks, j-hooks, sleeves)

Installs electronic fixtures (AP’s, switches, UPS, speakers, horns, projectors, cameras, and other electronics)

Qualification

Required

Familiar with BICSI, EIA, TIA and NEC Standards
