The Bid & RFP Response Specialist plays a key role in managing bids and proposals, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness while collaborating with various teams to secure contracts and expand market presence.

Responsibilities
Oversee the project management of large bids, quotes, and formal proposals from end to end
Coordinate all elements of the bid/RFP process, ensuring that all necessary approvals and information is gathered and deadlines met
Complete bid/RFP responses with accuracy and timeliness, by implementing timelines, dependency mapping, risk/issue tracking and proactive escalation
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Procurement, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Contracts, and Product Line Management to ensure tasks are clearly defined and all teams are aligned on expectations and deadlines
Review contractual accounts and identify catalog growth opportunities to help expand product offerings and drive revenue
Proactive and regular communication with relevant stakeholders to provide updates on bid/RFP progress
Serve as the point of contact for any questions or clarification requests related to the RFP from the client or customer
Participate in post-bid analysis and assessments to identify areas for improvement in the proposal process
Represent the organization with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-centric approach always
Qualification
Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers in different modes
Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills
Strong understanding of sales operations, bid processes, and strategic pricing
Excellent project management skills to oversee the entire lifecycle of a bid/RFP process
Strong sense of follow up and follow through
Analytical skills to support pricing and margin analysis
Must be detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment
PC experience in Windows environment required, Advanced Excel knowledge necessary
