The role involves supporting key purchasing and supply chain functions, including inventory control, forecasting, pricing, and vendor management, while contributing to process improvements and aligning pricing strategies with business goals.

Responsibilities

Assisting with daily inventory tasks such as placing orders, reviewing vendor invoices, and monitoring stock levels
Coordinating with vendors to resolve day-to-day supply issues
Contributing to inventory planning and purchasing decisions within cross-functional teams
Assisting with setting prices to achieve growth and profitability goals
Participating in initiatives to decrease the cost of serving our customers through packaging improvements, sell units of measure optimization, and order efficiency
Reviewing reports to help ensure ordering accuracy and support workflow improvements

Required

Applicants for this position must be located within a one-hour drive of Lancaster, PA at the time of internship to be considered
Familiar with supply chain or procurement concepts
Ambitious, hardworking, and eager to learn
A creative and strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively

Preferred

Strong in analytical and critical thinking, with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues independently
An effective communicator with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to quickly learn internal systems and reporting tools
Experience or interest in data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus
