Responsibilities

Respond to compliance inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in accurate and timely manner
Assist in validation, reconciliation, and correction of premium and loss data prior to reporting deadlines to regulatory agencies
Promote data quality through quality analysis and periodic reviews of statistical coding
Support vendor and reporting bureau processes through proactive collaboration
Assist in identifying requirements for both new and existing programs as directed by bureaus
Participate in quality testing and review of test results to ensure accuracy of implementations. Recommend coding or system process improvements
Stay current with statistical guidelines and request necessary programming when required
Direct the distribution of revisions/memos from regulatory agencies to all applicable departments
Create and maintain internal process documents

Required

Bachelor's Degree in finance, statistics, or insurance or equivalent work-related experience
One year of experience utilizing statistical plans for reporting
Knowledge of controls and implementation of controls as they relate to regulatory reporting
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams
Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
Demonstrated successful ability to perform accurate work under the pressures of tight schedules
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers

Preferred

SQL, VBA experience preferred
