Responsibilities

Develop and maintain annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial models
Analyze revenue, margins, labor costs, material costs, and overhead by project, branch, or service line
Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses (actual vs. budget/forecast)
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting financial performance
Create dashboards and KPIs related to job costing, project profitability, and operational efficiency
Collaborate with operations, sales, and project management teams to improve financial outcomes
Provide financial insights to support pricing decisions, bid evaluations, and project profitability
Assist leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives
Improve financial reporting accuracy, timeliness, and automation
Support enhancements to job costing systems and financial tools
Help establish standardized financial processes and best practices
Ensure financial data integrity and consistency with accounting policies
Assist with audits, internal controls, and documentation as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
2–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis
Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, formulas)
Experience analyzing P&L statements and financial drivers
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred

Experience in construction, roofing, home services, or project-based businesses
Familiarity with job costing and project margin analysis
Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar)
Experience with BI or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
