Compliance Coordinator Housing
Inglis is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to ensure properties comply with funding agency requirements and manage compliance-related responsibilities. The role involves auditing files, preparing project documents, and supporting property management in compliance training and reporting.

Responsibilities
Ensure lease-up and file audits per the contracts are completed in accordance with relevant financing standards (LIHTC, HOME, local funding requirements, project-based funding sources)
Prepare and maintain compliance manuals for site teams. Includes ensuring that each property has the required documents to complete move in files and recertifications according to their perspective monitoring program(s)
Meet regularly with the Director of Compliance and Training, Operations Manager and Property Managers reviewing leasing reports, identifying issues and trends for staff training
Meet all reporting requirements, internally and externally, coordinate with Directors and Managers for response to any audit/MOR/REAC/NSpire/inspection findings. Oversee 8823 compliance and annual owner reporting
Remain current and share relevant industry updates. Ensure the training curriculum is assigned appropriately to staff. Make recommendations for a new hire curriculum and ongoing training programs
Coordinate with the Operations Manager and community managers to ensure utility allowance updates and annual rent increases are processed on a timely basis
Serve as an internal resource, provide support to community management staff in furtherance of the corporate mission, and complete other organizational duties as assigned
Must meet established authorized driver qualifications and requirements
Qualification
Required
Minimum of four (4) years' experience in compliance and property management, or other applicable field
Understanding of Property Manager Fundamentals and Practices; knowledge of best practices in compliance; familiarity with current compliance regulations
COS, AHM, EIV and LIHTC certifications are required at hire or agree to obtain within 12 months of hire according to IHC policy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Good people skills
Ability to work both independently and as a team member
Comfortable using basic office technology (phones, email, copier, etc.)

Valid driver's license without restriction and ability to successfully complete authorized driver qualifications and requirements
