The role involves administration of the Azure environment, collaboration with technical teams, and support for enterprise and cloud infrastructure projects.

Administration of the Azure DCAS environment

Work with DoITT cloud and other technical teams for technical support and issues

Work with project teams to gather requirements

Implement best practice for cloud implementation and maintenance

Implement security and governance as per DCAS & NYC guidelines

Support the Azure environment for various projects

Required

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics or related field and six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, network architecture and/or IT infrastructure systems

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and ten years of satisfactory full-time experience related to enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, network architecture and/or IT infrastructure systems

Education and/or experience which is equivalent to '1' or '2' above

Preferred

Developing cloud adaption strategy - Migration, automation, and auto scaling resources - Deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of applications - Networking, cloud infrastructure components and configuration

Experience with Azure PowerShell & CLI

Infrastructure provisioning using ARM templates

Windows & Linux System Admin

Implement governance, policies & security

Defining roles and segregation of duties

Document & guide in-house staff

Azure Solutions Architect certification
