Utilizes the knowledge and application of nursing principles to ensure safe and effective coordination of patient care in their place of residence
Performs duties of the Home Health Care nurse

Qualification

Registered Nurse licensureHome health care experienceComputer documentationCustomer service skillsInterpersonal skills

Required

Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
Current licensure by the State of Michigan as a registered nurse
At least one (1) year of progressively responsible home health care nursing experience
Knowledge of computer use to electronically document patient care
Strong interpersonal and customer services skills to interact effectively with individuals from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
Current State of Michigan driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
Ability to lift, carry, transport and move clients, if needed
