Responsibilities

Negotiate interface decisions which affect and require integration of work into the related project

Document work and assure timely communications to all affected areas, schedules and cost objectives while alerting management to any difficulties

Design, develop, and test micro-controller-based designs

Perform schematic layouts and circuit analysis

Coordinate and manage regulatory conformance FCC, UL and others

Provide and is accountable for moderately complex technical direction, often as a technical team leader, to a small group of professional/technical personnel to complete an engineering/scientific project

Required

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology

3+ years of full-time work experience with extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes

Advanced Knowledge in the following programs: Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Dependent Failure Analysis (DFA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT), and Root Cause Analysis methods (RCA)

In-depth understanding of design for six sigma

Aptitude for troubleshooting electronic circuits

Preferred

Experience with FCC regulations
