Responsibilities
Serve as the facility procurement resource and center of expertise, managing supplier and internal customer relations
Facilitate the resolution of supplier quality and service issues at our Juda and Wyocena facilities
Collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing Team to eliminate non-value-add costs by identifying and leveraging opportunities for a strategic, innovative, category management approach to tactical purchasing
Enhance efficiency and foster continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or other related field required
Minimum of one (1) year related experience required, or related internship experience will also be considered
Ability/willingness to travel between our Grande facilities 20% of the time
Ability to read and interpret documents, E.g., operating/maintenance manuals, business place work instructions and standard operation procedures
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, fractions, percentages, volumes and conversions. (apply general algebra and geometry concepts)
Preferred
Experience in the food manufacturing industry is preferred
ISM or APICS Certifications (CPSM or CSCP) are desirable
