Responsibilities

Investigate, evaluate, and adjust multi-line liability claims in compliance with jurisdictional requirements and CCMSI claim handling guidelines
Review medical, legal, and miscellaneous invoices to ensure reasonableness and relation to claim exposure
Authorize and process payments on assigned claims within settlement authority
Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys as authorized by the client
Select and oversee defense counsel as appropriate
Identify, pursue, and monitor subrogation opportunities
Prepare and maintain accurate claim documentation, reports, reserves, and payment records
Ensure compliance with established service commitments and performance standards

Required

Minimum of 3 years of liability or multi-line claim adjusting experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills, organization, and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance and commitment to client service excellence
An active Designated Home State (DHS) Adjuster License in Texas, Oklahoma, or Florida is required for applicants who do not currently hold licenses in all applicable jurisdictions
A Department of Insurance (DOI) license is required for all states that mandate one

Preferred

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field
Prior experience within a Third Party Administrator (TPA) environment
Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency — highly valued for communicating with claimants, employers, or vendors, but not required
