Responsibilities
Utilize your data super powers to reduce ambiguity and solve problems
Develop and share insights that drive the product teams to better serve, acquire, and retain customers
Define the data language (i.e. KPIs, dashboards, measurement, etc) to ensure your team grasps the underlying truth that drives progress and success
Facilitate rapid decision making through ad hoc work or by democratizing data/self service (effective BI or user-friendly explores in Looker in partnership with our data engineers)
Design and execute effective A/B experiments that cater our product offering to our customer’s needs and boost recurring revenue
Be a strategic thought partner with cross-functional stakeholders
Mentor other analysts and help them grow
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience working in product analytics
BA/BS in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering with customer empathy or a BA/BS in behavioral science (economics, psychology, etc) with statistics skills
Excellent SQL & Python skills
Strong communication skills and experience communicating results in a way that drives change. You have the ability to use data to inform, align, and lead
Strong senses of autonomy and ownership
Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and statistical skills
Resourceful and responsible with AI tools
Preferred
Strong customer empathy, particularly for dentists
Have experience turning vague business problems into statistical rigorous analyses & solutions (e.g. causal inference, predictive modeling)
Interest in working and learning in an earlier stage company where we're still working out some of the basics
Experience in Hex, Looker, and dbt
