The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis, focused on promoting and developing the sport’s growth. They are seeking an Undergraduate Intern for Summer 2026 in Merchandising to manage merchandise requests, storage, and hospitality programs at the US Open.

Responsibilities

Manage the internal merchandise request system, which includes receiving and fulfilling orders and daily inventory of stock

Manage on-site merchandise storage areas, ensuring they are organized and properly inventoried

Serve as a US Open uniform ambassador. This includes receiving uniform orders, logging them into the system and fulfilling orders, and maintaining accurate inventory counts

Manage the US Open hospitality program. This includes logging and organizing requests into the system, creating invoices, and ensuring all orders are packed and marked with the correct delivery instructions

Required

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in G-Suite, particularly a strong background in Google Sheets

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Be able to conduct a daily inventory of all merchandise
