Responsibilities

Supervise Records Examiner/Analyst including workload assignment, performance evaluation, and quality reviews
Evaluate large and complex record sets to identify key facts, discrepancies, and evidentiary linkages
Prepare document summaries, indexes, timelines, and evidence reference materials for litigation and investigative use
Oversee document-production activities, chain-of-custody handling, and secure storage for physical and electronic evidence
Ensure compliance with federal documentation standards, privacy rules, and procedural requirements
Coordinate with attorneys, investigators, and government personnel to obtain missing or supplementary documentation
Participate in workflow planning, performance reporting, and process-improvement initiatives
Train and mentor junior records personnel and support knowledge transfer across the team

Required

Bachelor's Degree
Three years of experience related to the services being performed including one year of experience in asset forfeiture
Demonstrated supervisory experience and ability to lead personnel and manage workloads
Applied knowledge of the legal system, legal research procedures, and relevant sources of information
Expert knowledge of document control, case-record requirements, and evidentiary standards
Strong analytical and summarization skills with the ability to evaluate large datasets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic document-management systems
Superior written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, peers, supervisors, and customers
Thorough knowledge of automated legal and research tools
Ability to consistently deliver the highest quality work under extreme pressure and tight deadlines
Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform quality-control spot checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
Ability to perform complex technical and factual research to support case-related activities
Ability to establish clear goals and objectives, manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and ensure both work quality and quantity
Ability to communicate and coordinate with ACOR, QAE, attorneys, special agents, and other Government staff
Must be a U.S Citizen
Favorable credit check for all cleared positions
Successfully passing a background investigation including drug screening
Residency requirement - 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years
Ability to alternate between sitting and standing as needed
Ability to walk and move about to attend meetings and access file storage areas
Climbing/stooping/kneeling up to 10% of the time
Lifting/pulling/pushing up to 10% of the time; occasional lifting of boxes/files up to 25 lbs
Prolonged periods of computer and document review
