Senior Business Systems Analyst (Salesforce/ERP)

Our client is a rapidly scaling technology-driven organization seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to own and evolve critical enterprise platforms, including Salesforce and ERP systems. This role will serve as the connective tissue between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring systems are optimized to support growth, operational efficiency, and data integrity.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary business systems partner for Salesforce and ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
Own system roadmap in partnership with business leaders, IT, and Product
Ensure platforms scale to support revenue growth, operational complexity, and reporting needs
Evaluate and recommend system enhancements, integrations, and new tools
Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, RevOps, Customer Success, and Supply Chain teams to understand business needs
Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and data models
Design end-to-end solutions across CRM, ERP, CPQ, billing, and reporting systems
Balance customization vs. configuration best practices
Support Salesforce functionality across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and integrations
Optimize lead-to-cash workflows including lead management, opportunity tracking, forecasting, and renewals
Partner with RevOps on pipeline reporting, territory models, and quota tracking
Ensure data quality, security, and governance across CRM systems
Support ERP processes including order management, invoicing, revenue recognition, inventory, procurement, and GL
Partner with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and controls
Manage ERP integrations with Salesforce, payment platforms, fulfillment systems, and BI tools
Support month-end close, audits, and compliance requirements
Define requirements for system integrations using APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi), or ETL tools
Ensure data consistency across CRM, ERP, data warehouse, and analytics platforms
Partner with Data teams to support dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting
Document system architecture and data flows
Lead system implementations, enhancements, and upgrades from discovery through deployment
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors or implementation partners
Support UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution
Develop training materials and support change management initiatives

Required

7–10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Salesforce Analyst, or ERP Analyst
Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud required; CPQ/Service Cloud a plus)
Strong experience with at least one major ERP system (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
Proven ability to support complex, cross-functional enterprise systems
Salesforce configuration (objects, flows, validation rules, reports, dashboards)
ERP workflows: order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report
Experience with integrations, APIs, middleware, and data pipelines
SQL proficiency and familiarity with data warehouses and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery models

Preferred

Experience supporting high-growth SaaS, retail, or omnichannel organizations
Exposure to RevOps, CPQ, billing, and subscription management systems
Experience working with SOX controls or audit requirements
Prior consulting or large-scale system implementation experience
