Responsibilities
Perform field labor
Operate hand-held construction equipment
Learn heavy equipment operating, construction techniques, and regulations
Document field observations
Observe safe work practices

Qualification
Required
GED or High School Diploma
OSHA HAZWOPER certification
1-2 years of construction experience with repair and construction of stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, piping and detention/retention basins
Able to perform manual labor
Knowledge of sediment and erosion control
Comfortable using pickups/equipment trailers
Good driving record
Thorough understanding of safe work practices in accordance with OSHA regulations
Able to understand grade and elevation instruments or willing to learn
Open to overnight travel
Preferred
Safeland Training preferred but not required
General carpentry and plumbing experience is helpful
