Sales Development Representative (Denver/Boulder, CO)

Responsibilities

Support 1-2 Account Executives by prospecting and scheduling product demos
Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned prospect lists and expand into ancillary jurisdiction types
Quickly develop a thorough knowledge of Esper’s products and how they address key challenges in government policymaking and operations
Execute outreach campaigns and sequences created by yourself or sales management
Maintain a high volume of daily prospecting calls (60+ calls per day) and emails to engage potential customers
Establish credibility and rapport with prospects quickly to convert initial conversations into meaningful sales opportunities
Meet and exceed monthly quotas for scheduled demos and qualified opportunities

Required

0 - 2 years of experience working in sales, preferably within B2B SaaS or public sector technology
Passion for selling technology solutions that enhance government efficiency and policymaking
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Competitive and driven to succeed, with a strong ability to handle objections and remain persistent
Ability to quickly learn and apply industry-specific terminology and product knowledge

Preferred

Experience using Hubspot or a comparable CRM is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business, Political Science, Finance, or a related field preferred
