The role involves providing senior technical experience with Capitol Projects, performing design support, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with various departments to deliver design solutions.

Responsibilities
Service as senior technical experience with Capitol Projects division
Perform kit takeoffs for quoting/ordering materials
Generate seismic bracing layouts
Provide seismic design support for non-structural components
Support engineering tasks
Mentor junior engineers
Collaborate with all departments to deliver design solutions
Maintain department equipment/devices
Assist with onboarding, training & communication with engineering staff
Qualification
Required
5+ years Structural/Civil Engineering experience
5+ years Advanced Design Support for Structural Components
PE license required (any state)
Experience on large-scale projects (required)
Strong knowledge of ASCE, IBC, ACI, UFC
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam (required)
Preferred
Experience on data center projects (highly preferred)
