Youth Development Professional (Boys Group Home/West Palm Beach)

This role involves direct care and supervision of children in a therapeutic group home setting, ensuring adherence to schedules and effective communication with staff.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the direct care and supervision of children in the Specialized Therapeutic Group Home Program
Adhere to the established daily schedule of activities
Implement the behavior management system
Maintain open communication with co-workers and administrators
Complete all necessary documentation
Qualification
Required
Applicants should have at minimum a high school diploma or GED
At least one year experience working with children/adolescents
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) encouraged to apply
Valid Florida's driver's license is required
Able to physically engage in restraints
May involve lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light to moderate weight (10-25 pounds)
Repetitive sitting; standing; walking; reaching with hands and arms; climbing stairs; balancing; stooping; kneeling; talking; and listening
Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Must be able to drive
